A Hypekage editorial training journey, drawing on themes across the series. This is not a canonical named arc.
The original Death Note sets an academically accomplished student against an investigating detective after a supernatural notebook introduces a series of killings. Light claims a mission to remove evil; L investigates the deaths. The premise makes evidence, concealment and self-justification central to its conflict. It is compelling precisely because intelligence does not settle the ethical question of what someone should do with power.
“Evidence Before Certainty” is Hypekage’s editorial reflection journey, not a canonical training arc or a celebration of harmful behavior. It uses the story to distinguish observation, interpretation and judgment. In a sporting discussion, a learner might similarly ask what happened in a play, what explanation fits and which information remains missing. That modest analogy does not promise a general IQ increase or turn either character’s unusual habits into a health prescription.
