Heavens Arena initially looks like an obvious destination for Gon and Killua: a tower filled with fights, a chance to earn money and an opportunity to test what they can already do. Then Wing’s instruction changes the meaning of advancement. Reaching stronger opponents is no longer simply a matter of being quick, brave or naturally gifted. Nen introduces a system they have to learn before their existing ability can carry them further.
This is a compelling beginner story precisely because the beginners are already talented. A new subject can return an experienced person to the unfamiliar side of learning. Hypekage uses “Nen Foundations” as an editorial name for that transition. The real-world connection is patient skill acquisition: knowing when to ask for an explanation, recognizing that confidence and understanding are different things, and becoming interested in details that were invisible before a good teacher pointed them out.
